This project is a book cover design created for a Russian author, based on a historical story set during World War II.

The goal was to visually represent the atmosphere of the period, incorporating symbolic elements related to the Soviet context of the war.

The challenge was to create a composition that feels authentic and emotionally resonant while clearly reflecting the historical theme.

I developed the cover using a combination of digital art and photo manipulation, integrating layered imagery and muted tones to convey depth and historical weight.
